Our patients feel our staff is among the most unique in the area. They make your comfort before, during and after your visit a priority. They are extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of periodontal therapy.

Appointment and Financial Coordinators

We are fortunate to have Jodie and Terry making appointments and assisting patients with their financial arrangements. Both Jodie and Terry have completed training in insurance processing and third party payment. They are always searching for better options to help our patients with their insurance needs.

JodieJodie grew up in North Dakota and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. She graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services. Prior to coming to Dr. Manhart’s office, she worked for Billings Clinic. Jodie has worked for Dr. Manhart for five years. She is very personable and patient. She brings a relaxing presence and her positive energy is projected throughout the office.

TerryTerry is no stranger to the field of dentistry. Her 14 years of experience have included pediatrics, orthodontic care and restorative dentistry in both chair-side assisting and treatment coordinating. Her extensive understanding of the dental office and its operation creates a culture that provides both knowledge and support to our patients. Her positive attitude and sense of humor will improve your dental experience immeasurably.

Dental Hygienists

Few dental hygienists have the interest or ability to work in the specialty setting. We are fortunate to have two of the best in the business. Our periodontal hygiene staff consists of Paul and Melissa. They are in charge of delivering most of the non-surgical and supportive therapy to our patients. They are tireless students of their profession and are a great resource for the office. Periodontal therapists of their caliber are hard to find. Their caring and commitment provides each patient with the knowledge that they are in good hands.

PaulPaul graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Sheridan College in 2002. While continuing his studies, Paul worked part time in several general dental practices and in 2003 graduated with high honors from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree. While finishing his advanced education, Paul gained experience working for a periodontal specialty office in Cheyenne, WY. This experience focused his interest in working with periodontal disease patients. In the summer of 2004 he joined Dr. Manhart’s team and moved to Billings to be closer to family.

MelissaMelissa has more than nine years experience in the dental profession. After five years working as a dental assistant in Bozeman, Melissa decided to return to school to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. Melissa and her family relocated to Galesburg, Illinois and in May of 2007 Melissa received her Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Carl Sandburg College. Following graduation, Melissa and her family returned home to Billings and she has since worked at Periodontal Specialists of Montana. Melissa has two children, age 9 and 4, and enjoys spending time with her family, running, swimming, and being outdoors.
